The Turkish Language Curriculum Centre offers courses in Turkish language to refugee women and volunteers. Due to war and politics, many refugees are forced to leave their homes and move to new places where they are not familiar with the local language and culture. For them, learning the local language is crucial in finding work to support their families. As a result, many of the participants in these courses are refugee women who are responsible for their families’ livelihoods.
