Women are not only the backbone of their families but also an integral part of the workforce. 💼 However, women who juggle the roles of #mother and #worker face immense pressure and challenges. In Turkey, many women from low-income families seek employment to alleviate the family’s #financial burden. 👩👧👦 Despite this, they still need to take care of household chores and their children’s education, which undoubtedly adds to their burden.
The Centre for World Citizens is committed to helping vulnerable #families in Reyhanlı, not only by providing them with the humanitarian aid they need and basic education for their children 📚 but also by opening up #employment opportunities for local women. We deeply understand the hardships they endure and the sacrifices they make. 💔
Recently, we organized a special event where students handcrafted gifts to express their love for their mothers. 🎁 Through this activity, we not only teach children to care for, cherish, and respect the women around them, but also help them realize the significance of these thoughtful gifts, which convey not only their love for their mothers but also their appreciation and #gratitude for their hard work. 💌
